Topo USA 5.0 lets you be the mapmaker. Create automatic routes along

routable roads, trails, searchable lines, shapes, annotations, symbols,
and more. Quickly see measurements in acres, miles, and feet. Print
maps in 2-D and 3-D including titles, legends, elevation profiles, and
travel directions. Make poster size 2-D and 3-D mural maps using an
everyday printer by joining together nine tiled map pages,
automatically generated by the software. Powerful GPS Functionality
Connect the DeLorme Earthmate® GPS receiver (available separately) to a
laptop PC and track your position in real-time on 2-D and 3-D maps -
it’s amazing! Use the new GPS waypoint wizard to upload routes to
popular handheld GPS receivers. You can even route on trails and roads
you’ve drawn or collected with GPS, it’s the ultimate in modern

Import Satellite/Arial Imagery
The new DeLorme Topo 5.0 will allow you to upload DeLorme Arial Data
Packets,
which contains images of the area that you are mapping out.
You can make notes on the Topo maps and they will also display on the
arial images.

With one click, switch to split-screen mode for viewing side-by-side
2-D and 3-D maps. Hover your cursor over the 2-D map and see the cursor
echo the position automatically on the 3-D map. Trace a line on the 2-D
map and it automatically appears on the 3-D map. You can also us the
split screen to display the map and the Satellite/Arial Imagery at the
same time.
