The Navman GPS 110 is an easy-to-use solution for your notebook computer* (USB enabled). The GPS 110 USB GPS receiver can be mounted on the vehicle's windshield using the supplied mounting bracket incorporating a single levered suction cup and it includes 6 feet of cable. The GPS 110 USB GPS receiver is powered by your notebook computer's battery. The Navman 110 USB is a fully compatible NMEA 0183 version 2.01 receiver, which means that you can use the GPS 110 to provide your location to many NMEA compatible software programs. Included with the GPS 110 receiver is the USB driver and the GPS Finder program, which will let you know if your Navman GPS 110 is communicating with your PC. The GPS finder software will allow you to chose what number Com Port that you set for the antenna. The USB adapter has an in-built communications indicator so that you can monitor the status of your GPS signal. The light will flash once a second if the installation was not successful, it will stay on continuously if you have the installation correct but it is not sending data, and it will flash constantly if you are installed and sending information to the laptop.
The Navman GPS 110 comes with a one-year manufacturers warranty and it is compatible with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, and XP.
